General information about visiting the garden centre during the Covid-19 pandemic
To be able to maintain social distancing we will be limiting the number of customers in the garden centre. This may require customers to queue outside if the limit has been reached. We do expect to be busy, so if possible, please visit alone or in small groups to reduce queuing.
We have also introduced a one way system throughout the garden centre. We apologise for the inconvenience this causes but it is essential for maintaining social distancing.
From July 24th in accordance with Government regulations all visitors to the garden centre must wear face coverings, unless you have a legitimate reason to not wear one, as described on the government website
We will be open Monday to Saturday 9am until 5.30pm and from 10am until 4pm on Sundays.
We would ask customers to pay by card rather than cash where possible. Contactless is available for transactions under £45.
To maintain social distancing and the smooth running of the one way system, our staff will not be able to offer gardening or plant advice as normal. However we can still help by email, please feel free to email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Reward card: We will be extending the expiry date on all reward card vouchers that were due to expire after March 23rd by three months to give all our customers plenty of time to spend them. Unfortunately we will not be offering reward card points for cafe purchases until further notice, but points will be available on shop purchases.
Our toilets and playground are open but our sand pit will remain closed until we have further information about reopening
