Outdoor Plant Area

We are a traditional family owned garden centre and plants are very important to us. We have a large plant area and we concentrate on offering both excellent choice and quality.

There is a large covered plant canopy as well as a covered walkway going around the site meaning you can still shop if the rain comes!

All our hardy plants are covered by a 2 year plant guarantee, so you can plant them with confidence. We will replace any plants that fail in that time, providing they have been suitably watered. The plantarea houses a complete range of plants but in particular we host an excellent selection of hardy perennials.

People often ask us when should we plant? With container grown plants you can plant at any time. Obviously if you plant them in summer they will need regular watering until they are established.

 We always recommend March to June and September and October as the best time to plant in terms of choice and variety available.
